For a long time I have been saying that I should write a blog about our family for our friends who live far away. As more of our friends are moving away I have finally got myself organised to do one!! Who knows how this will go - bear with me as I work this out :) Let the blogging begin.....

Made it myself - from scratch!

As most of you are aware my cooking skills are less than average and despite best efforts success often falls short of what is intended. This chicken and pumpkin risotto happened to appear in a friend's status update so I thought I'd give it a go and it worked!! It even tastes pretty good. Yes me cooking from scratch! Amazing! Ok so Bert and the boys are yet to judge
so this boast may fall flat, however I am hopeful at this moment. I'll keep you posted.
