Countdown

We've been counting down to our holiday in Adelaide and until we are reunited with our friends who miss so much. We have been creative in our countdown. Today is the eve of our flight. I am trying to savour the feeling, the excitement, the everything cause I know it will go too fast when we get there. Bring on Adelaide!!!!!

40th Party

Last night we went to Berty's brother and sister's 40th birthday party. It was a fun night. The boys absolutely rocked it out on the dance floor - it was adorable and so cute and funny all rolled into one. Although it was a great night we won't be having a party for our 40th - we're thinking maybe a holiday away might be nice!

I won!!!

I don't usually win anything. In saying that I don't really enter a lot of competitions.
There is a lady at school who started up a clothing line a couple of years ago with her cousin. They are beautiful clothes - well very me. They are quite expensive so I have a couple of items from when they were on sale. Her brand 'Tickets for CoCo' had a comp on Facebook last week. All you had to do was post some of their dresses on your page. I did that a few times and then surprisingly I won!!!!! So excited. Lucky me then got to pick a free dress and while I was there I picked up a couple of bargains - I am now all ready to go to Adelaide with my funky new clothes!!!!

10 year HPAC Birthday

Today our little church turned 10! It was a really great service. We have had our ups and downs over the last 10 years but God has remained faithful. It's good to remember where we have come from.

IKEA

On the way home from the Fitz's we stopped to get IKEA meatballs. Steph joined us for a quick whizz around the fabulous store that is IKEA. We were very restrained and only got a new chopping board and a star light for Xavi's room. The boys enjoyed icecream cones from the icecream robot - 50c bargain!!!

Fitz's

Yesterday we went and had lunch with the Fitz's. Such a good time with good friends and good food. Love old friends who you can just 'be' with.

Colin Concert

We went and saw Colin this afternoon. It was a flying trip from school to home to get changed then to Penrith by 4:30pm and then after the concert to get Berty back for Youth at 6pm but we made it!
Colin is so amazing. If he is still passionate and enthusiastic about teaching kids about Jesus after all these years it gives me the encouragement to keep doing it too! Wish I had half his talent! What an amazing man. Wish we could have stayed to meet him - maybe next time!
The boys had a great time. I was also encouraged that there was a hall full of parents and grandparents who are raising their kids to love Jesus.

Guess who?

Seth is very into this game at the moment. We have the Star Wars version so you ask questions like do you have a green light saber? Are you a robot? It can get very tricky!!

Affectionate

To say that Indie loves being near people is an understatement. She will sit right on you if she can. Like our dear old Xsara she loves Berty the best but who can blame her. This is Indie helping with bedtime. Could she get any closer?
