So it turns out.....whoops

Seth has been fighting a pesky impetigo infection since before Christmas. We have been to the doctors three times already. The other day I noticed something on Xavi's finger, which I thought was a mozzie bite. By yesterday I knew it wasn't a mozzie bite and that he had impetigo too. Seth also was complaining about the dirt in his ear - nope not dirt - impetigo, as is the sore in his nose......sigh....
So got an early dr appt today thinking we would go, get antibiotics and then go to school. Nope. This doctor told me they are very contagious and that they need the next two days off school. So, whoops they probably shouldn't have been at school the last few days. Whoops! Lucky I work from home so I could just growl at them from my desk every now and then - cause they are in quarantine but they aren't sick so not curled up on the lounge sleeping.
1 day down - 1 to go and I'll let them lose on the world again - anyone for a yucky infection?

Dressing up

You all know how much I hate dressing up. It's a childhood issue that lives with me. You can imagine how thrilled I was when we got the invite to Skipp's 40th and it was a 'dress up as someone from your favourite decade' party. Great. Anyway I decided to go with the 50's style dress that I already own and go from there. Not too out there but I made an effort.
It was a good party, Skipp had a good time and so that's all that matters really.
