Welcome
For a long time I have been saying that I should write a blog about our family for our friends who live far away. As more of our friends are moving away I have finally got myself organised to do one!! Who knows how this will go - bear with me as I work this out :) Let the blogging begin.....

Free
This afternoon Xavier got his cast off. He is super excited! I am a little nervous to be honest. I also nearly fainted at the dr on the way out - they made me lay down before I left - I think it was a combination of seeing the scar, the smell, heat, not enough water, not enough coffee and not eating enough - regardless it was embarrassing and I still have a headache.

Visiting Santa
We haven't had Santa photos since Seth was born because he was too terrified to go up to him and I just couldn't be bothered with the crowds. With my resolution to be more Christmassy this year we went to visit Santa- they wanted to say hello. When we got there Xavi was trying to run away but he went up with Seth and when told that the seat beside Santa was for big 4 year olds he gave in and gave Santa a big cuddle. Turned out ok in the end. So hopefully a good memory for the boys. We might even do it next year!

Mini Christmas Puddings
Xavi at the hospital
On Monday evening Xavi got the wires out of his elbow- we didn't think it was happening until after Christmas. He has a backslab and a bandage on it for another week or so. This is before the op wearing his new Spiderman PJ's and working out how to use the remote for the TV and the light.

Uncle Michael all dressed up
Xavi asked all day why was Uncle Michael dressed up, why did we have to go to church, why did we have to be quiet, can I have something to eat, why can't I go in Aunty Jen's car ( followed by half an hour of crying because the poor child had to go with his own family)...as you can see Michael's special day caused many, many questions!!!

Awards
At Seth's school they have the big awards assembly and then every class has their own little awards ceremony in the classroom. It means that each child gets to take home something- it's really lovely. Seth has been blessed with two really great teachers this year.

They also give awards to the kids who borrow every week at the library - i like to take a little credit for this particular award as I was the one who remembered library day each week.
