Spikes hair and red giraffe t-shirts

The boys had a haircut on the weekend and they always plaster it with gel at the hairdressers to make it super spikes. I bought these giraffe t-shirts for the boys and I love them!

Trying mangoes

I went and sang for the old people at my mum's church on Friday. As a thank you I was given a basket of fruit. There was a mango included which Seth wanted to try. Bert was kind enough to share it with him- I don't really like mangos so don't really buy them- yes it's terrible that Seth is only now trying one now! Xavi went with the safe option and had a banana.

the oldies in the crowd but they are so fabulous it's worth it!

Bilbycart fun

We went to Liz's/Bibby's on the weekend and Mabelle and Matt had made a billycart - although Seth called it a Bilbycart and think that sounds better. They had a ball.

My 7 year old

It's when I see a photo like this that I realise how grown up our Seth-man is - he is no longer our little boy. It makes me wonder where all that time went. It also reminds me to appreciate every moment cause he is growing up too fast!

Two Choices

Presently in our car there are only 2 choices for your musical listening pleasure - it's either Colin Buchanan's 'God Rock' or 'Symmetry' by New Empire. If those aren't your tastes then it's the bus for you at this moment in time!

Love this time of year

I love this time of year. I love that it is not too hot and not too cold. I love that you can wear jeans and a t-shirt and flip-flops - these are the simple things in life that make me happy! I love that it's not dark when Bert gets home and that he can go and jump on the trampoline with the boys before dinner. I love that he is happy to do this for an hour - the boys wait for him to get home so that the fun can begin.

Xavier's colouring

While we were on holidays Xavier spent a good hour colouring in this picture of some dinosaurs. He was so careful to stay in the lines. The fact that he sat there for so long and worked so diligently was quite an achievement - one that he hasn't replicated since.
