Welcome

For a long time I have been saying that I should write a blog about our family for our friends who live far away. As more of our friends are moving away I have finally got myself organised to do one!! Who knows how this will go - bear with me as I work this out :) Let the blogging begin.....

The pretty birds

Every year at about this time our gum tree is covered in snuggle pot and cuddle pie blossoms - it's just gorgeous and such a beautiful thing to see out the front door. We also get to enjoy what we call 'the pretty birds' - the boys will sit quietly and just watch them. This afternoon at about 6pm the tree was absolutely covered in them - it was hard to count but there would have been at least 15. Just so beautiful.
