Jemma's 9th Birthday

How did this gorgeous little poppet get to be nine?! She is creative and quirky. She is kind and friendly. She loves with a passion and you have to chase her to get a cuddle. She loves playing with our boys and making up imaginary games. She is amazing at tidying up and loves coming to my place and getting treats out of the 'magic' cupboard. I love this little treasure.
We celebrated with her at Liz's with a day organised by her. Hide & Seek pass the parcel, party poppers, movie, lollies, twister and dancing. Too fun.

Crazy pants

I am a sucker for crazy pants. Especially ones that are made of cotton and are so cool to wear in this awful humid, hot weather. Due to a friend buying a pair and then not liking them I currently have two pairs of these fabulous pants. I may also be getting a pair for Christmas. Bring on summer holidays and crazy pants.

Aladdin Performance

All the classes this year were part of a performance night. Seth's was earlier in the year and Xavier's was term 4. His class did a song from Aladdin. Xavier absolutely loved performing. He loved the practices,he loved learning steps and practicing with all of Stage 1. It was such a great night. The teachers really excel themselves. I couldn't get a photo of Xavi in his soldier outfit but you can get an idea from this far away picture.
The theme was a night at the movies and they were trialling doing the performance at Event cinemas at the Square. When each class had finished they scrolled all the names up on the screen like a real movie. So cool.

Winners

Seth isn't really our sporty kid but he gives things a good go. He has made the school gala day Tball team the last two years. The improvement this year was amazing. He made some great catches and seemed to have a good idea of how the game worked and where to stand. It was fun to watch. Their team ended up the winners of the comp! Yay!

Far Away

We are so blessed to have wonderful friends. Sometimes it makes me sad that they are so far away. I am glad they are only a plane ride away but still being around the corner, or even an hour away, would mean more catch ups, more cups of tea, more problems of the world solved, more kids having fun together cause they're good kids. Having two constant holiday destinations isn't a bad thing, but when they come to visit it reminds you again how fabulous your friends are. True gifts from God.
When the Sams visited earlier this year we were reminded of these things again. It was a blessing to have them stay here, watch the kids hang out and just be together.
I even got a sneaky coffee with Jac - too precious.

Harry Potter fun

The wonderful Steph put on a surprise Harry Potter party for Ami while the Sams were here. Although I didn't get enough photos it was very fabulous. The kids had a blast.

Soccer Presentation

Way back at the beginning of October the boys got their trophies for playing soccer this year. Xavi's coach was our friend Dave and he had the best time. Such a great little team of kids and parents. I wasn't at Seth's presentation so I don't have a photo. You could probably scroll back a year and except for bigger teeth and an extra 10cm Seth would still look about the same.
