Welcome

For a long time I have been saying that I should write a blog about our family for our friends who live far away. As more of our friends are moving away I have finally got myself organised to do one!! Who knows how this will go - bear with me as I work this out :) Let the blogging begin.....

SS Day 6

Well the children woke up much happier today and we headed of to Day 6 of SS. I'm glad we did Peter Jensen's talk on Noah and judgement was so challenging and a great reminder of our awesome, loving and saving God. As Peter ended his talk - thank you Jesus.

The boys did some craft today so I thought I shld document it

The soap dish is very distinctive and helps us to find our cars each day.

A lavender mug with a bee - drinking tea near the lavender and many many bees!

Xavi drinking fluffy milk - not a baby cino - he doesn't like those apparently! Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

SS Day 5 or reset day

This morning began with a number of meltdowns from various children and so it was decided that we would have a 'stay at home and reset' day - the children played well most of the day so hopefully they will sleep well and be ready to go to Kid's School (as Xavi calls it) tomorrow.
It was nice to have a slow day. Berty went and played golf, Michael's neck was feeling a bit better but not enough to play golf so he stayed home too- it meant that Jen and I could go out for a while which was very nice. Here are some photos from the end of reset day

SS Day 4

Day 4 did not hold anything out of the ordinary. Talk was challenging and worth a re-read of my notes when I get home. The only photo I took was of Ethan- we needed a little break as we walked up the hill - next year we'll be fit, no really, next year we'll be fit!! Here's cute Ethan

SS Day 3

The view from our kitchen - a nice way to start the morning and the weather is gorgeous so far- a beautiful day!!

In case you thought it was all fun and games here at SS we are going to sessions and listening to Peter Jensen speak. This morning's talk was a good one about the fall hence my full page of notes.

Xavi had a golf lesson this afternoon in the backyard. A little later Ami and Seth went to Blackheath golf course with Mike and Berty and had a great time--also made themselves some pocket money doing golfy type jobs on the course. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

SS Day 2 con't

Mario lollies!!!!- what will they think of next?
This gave me big brownie points with my boys: )

Dinner outside - 2 nights in a row - the weather is much better than last year by now we were already swimming.

This was bed time last night but it's a cute photo- the boys were so tired they went straight to sleep even though they are in the same bed- we are hopeful for tonight.
