Welcome

For a long time I have been saying that I should write a blog about our family for our friends who live far away. As more of our friends are moving away I have finally got myself organised to do one!! Who knows how this will go - bear with me as I work this out :) Let the blogging begin.....

Our brave Xavier

Xavier is now home after messing up his elbow. He is a bit frustrated but has been so brave through the whole thing.

Decluttering

Today Bert borrowed a friend's ute and took two trips to the tip and one to vinnies to get rid of the huge pile of rubbish and second hand stuff that's been accumulating in our garage. He's a trooper and we now can see the floor of the garage again. Now to sort out all the stuff that's left - fun, fun!

The Game

The boys have been playing 'the game' which is their highly original name for it. The game involves finding every single soft toy we own and then 'fixing' them. They are 'fixed' using the Bob the Builder tools that we have- apparently they double as dr instruments. This 'game' can keep the boys busy and happy for extended periods of time :)

School photo- Year 1

So Seth missed his school photo this year as we were away. Mum has a photo wall with the kids school photos on it so I thought I better take one for her- it's probably a better photo than I would have got from school anyway!

Operation Christmas Child

Each year our church gets involved with OCC. I like to do 2 boxes for the same ages as our boys. I love packing them with the boys and telling them why we are giving away toys. I fear sometimes that they come to just expect stuff so it's good for them to give stuff.
